Welcome to the Swiss Cooperation Office in Serbia!

Switzerland has been supporting Serbia’s transition through bilateral cooperation since 1991, in a total amount over 170 million Swiss francs (110 million euros).

Today, Switzerland’s cooperation with Serbia aims at alleviating poverty, enhancing democratisation and enabling a successful international, economic and social transition process respecting human rights. Its ultimate goal is to enable the people of Serbia to live in social and economic security and participate in the political processes which shape their lives.

Switzerland’s cooperation with Serbia is being implemented jointly by two governmental agencies: the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) from the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) from the Federal Department for Economic Affairs.

All cooperation activities are coordinated by the Swiss Cooperation Office in Serbia, run jointly by SDC and SECO.
